Top Page Three

(English Translation of Japanese Top Musuem)

Things that Fall and Flutter. Snowflakes, leaves, and butterfly type tops.

Ball Tops. Self explanatory.

Yo-yo. Is this a top or a Yo-yo? I ask because of the peg on the base/side?

This is a top from one of the Japanese regions. It is a thrown top.

Feather Top. This looks like a plan view of a square top. It appears to come from Switzerland.

Flower Tops. These look like palm spinners.

Acrobat. Is this a top that they like to do tricks with? Looks a very efficient top to me.

The Moon and the Rabbit. I would like to know the story behind this pair. It reminds me of a possible Aesop fable?

The Three Wise Monkeys. (Hear no evil, See no evil, and Do no Evil)

Multi Coloured Tops. Look like finger twirler tops made by Gensui.
